Angelic Riders

Mephibosheth Farms Angelic Riders, Inc. is a premier nonprofit 501(c)(3) therapeutic horseback riding facility located on a scenic farm in Marshville, North Carolina. Founded in 2002 by Michael and Ruby Harris, the center is dedicated to improving the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of children and adults with disabilities through the unique benefits of equine-assisted activities. As a PATH Intl. certified center, the program offers hour-long therapeutic riding sessions led by certified instructors that utilize a covered arena and specialized sensory trails to foster rider development.

In addition to its core therapeutic mission, the facility provides comprehensive equestrian services including full-care horse boarding and professional training. The boarding program features diverse pasture and stall combinations, while the training services utilize gentle, foundation-based methods inspired by natural horsemanship. Supported by a dedicated network of volunteers and specially trained horses, Mephibosheth Farms serves as a vital community resource, offering scholarships to ensure its life-changing services remain accessible to those in need regardless of financial circumstances.
